Post Catastrophe Relief Distribution for Bangladesh Flood victims 2007
Serve The people reached the camp of Dakkhin khan at Keranigonj around 10 am. Nearly four hundreds people took shelter in the camp from neighboring villages. Actual picture was sad and Pathetic and way worse than whatever we see in news paper or TV channels.  Serve The People distributed rice, dal (lentil), match boxes and candles among those people. To make the distribution process organized and fair, administrative stuff of Union member provided necessary assistance. Afterward they went to Shuvada Union by boat and distributed relief items among the victims. However the relief arrangement was not sufficient enough to cover the number of affected people of that area. Most of the aged women and children are passing a very critical time as they can’t collect the relief item competing with the young people. Everyone needs fresh water, dry food, and medicines for protection of water related diseases which were about to take an epidemic form.
N.B. Currently serve the people is working on to get back to these people with after flood medical care and assistance of rehabilitation.
